Eleven years ago Aidan Connolly went back to school. He returned to his alma mater, University College Dublin Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business, to create a customized management development program. Connolly worked with his former professor, Dr. Frank Bradley to create a mini-MBA program that combined the best of the MBA with the best of Alltech. About one-third the workload of a classic MBA, it focuses on case studies and problems specific to Alltech and the animal health industry. Over a hundred Alltech managers have completed the program since its creation and another hundred are currently enrolled.

Alltech's mini-MBA has proven to be a great asset for Alltech and has served as the basis for similar programs developed by UCD for other innovative companies.
