Animal Ag Alliance Booth at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

While you are at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games be sure to stop by the Animal Agriculture Alliance booth in the Trade Show area. The Alliance works to inform consumers and the media about the importance of animal agriculture. They deal with a wide range of topics, including: animal welfare, biotechnology and the importance of using reliable scientific information.

Alliance volunteers have had the opportunity to talk to thousands of visitors about modern farm practices and the ag industry in general. The volunteers include: University of Kentucky agriculture students, farmers, ranchers, and veterinarians. If you have kids at the Alltech Games they will be excited to see the coloring books; and toy animals and tractors at the booth (#704).

A diverse group of University of Kentucky agriculture students, farmers, ranchers, veterinarians, and association and business leaders have donated their time to share their stories and field questions from the public at the booth. These volunteers are serving as advocates for agriculture and have actively engaged with trade show attendees to educate them about modern farm practices and the importance of the entire agriculture industry. There is also a trivia contest and a raffle. What else could you want?

The exhibit was made possible from generous support from Alltech and agricultural companies and organizations including the Kentucky Soybean Board, Kentucky Beef Council, Kentucky Poultry Federation, American Feed Industry Association, National Milk Producers Federation, National Cattlemen's Beef Association, National Pork Board, American National CattleWomen, Inc., National Chicken Council, Elanco Animal Health, PIC, Feedstuffs, Outback Steakhouse, Darden Restaurants and others.
