Giving Kids A Chance to go to the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games

Sixty nine yellow school buses (4,000 kids) from schools throughout the Bluegrass rolled into the Kentucky Horse Park yesterday for the first day of Alltech's Give Kids A Chance program. The program was created to give school kids a chance see all of the exciting exhibits, demonstrations and horses.

Kids under 12 were excited to see the Newport Aquarium exhibit where they could pet sharks and snakes, meet a baby alligator in the Science Made Simple exhibit and try some Dippin' Dots. Teens got to see world championship equestrian competitions and learn about sustainability and the future of farming.
