Danish Princess, Nathalie of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg visited the Alltech Experience Pavilion Thursday. Princess Nathalie competed this week in the dressage championships and performed very well despite giving birth to a son just 10 weeks ago. She received the sixth-best individual score in the team dressage and finished seventh in both the Grand Prix Special and Grand Prix Freestyle..
She continued to ride up until her seventh month of pregnancy and was back to training again eight days after her son, Konstantin Gustav Heinrich Richard was born.
Nathalie was accompanied by her mother, Her Royal Highness Princess Benedikte of Sayn-Witt genstein-Berleburg and her new son. Both women are avid horse breeders. Nathalie rode Digby, a 13-year old Dutch warmblood that she bred.
Kat Christensen, an Alltech Ireland employee from Denmark was excited to find out that Princess Nathalie was at the pavilion. Kat came over to meet Her Highness and have a photo taken with her. Meeting the Danish Princess Nathalie was a unique experience. Princess Nathalie is one of Denmark's top riders and took part in dressage and dressage freestyle. The Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games is an experience for life that I hope will repeat in 2014.
