The USA Reining team captured a third straight gold medal today. Chef d'equipe Jeff Petska had this to say about the excitement of defending their championship on their home turf. "To have the opportunity to come here to a beautiful place like Kentucky, and this great facility and be able to compete here and be successful again was just like a dream come true."

Jan Boogaerts of the Belgian team described the unexpected thrill of winning a Reining medal for the first time. " This is beyond our wildest dreams. We came in here with the idea of fighting for a top 5, maybe if we were really lucky maybe getting bronze but silver is awesome."

Individual Reining competition starts on Tuesday at the Alltech Games. See the schedule here.
