Bob Sand of the Beef Connection System LLC has a diverse background. He grew up in a farm family, working on his grandfather's dairy farm and his other grandfather's fruit and vegetable farm. He spent the early part of his professional career in the precision measurement industry working with automotive manufacturers. In 2001 he returned to farming with an Angus cow/calf operation. His experience with data collection and analysis led him to found The Beef Connection LLC, a service organization designed to help beef cattle producers be more sustainable.
